The ancient Silk Route or Silk Road which passes through various places of east Sikkim like SilleryGaon, ReshiKhola, Rhenock, Rongli, Aritar, Mankhim, Lingtam, Zuluk, Padamchen, and Gnathang valley is a part of the ancient network of trade routes which connected China to India. The Silk Route in Sikkim is an offshoot of the ancient trade route which came from Lhasa, crossing Chumbi Valley and passing through Nathula to finally reach the port of Tamluk in West Bengal.
Tour Schedule:
Pick up from NJP/IXB and drive to Sillerygaon. Check into Homestay and After lunch have option to visit Ramithey Dara Viewpoint by walk. Dinner and Overnight at Sillerygaon.
Check out after breakfast and drop to Aritar via Pedong. En route see Reshikhola, Vinayak Temple, Lampokhri Lake, Aritar Gompha and Mankhim Dara Viewpoint. Check into Homestay. Lunch, Dinner and Overnight at Aritar.
After breakfast, drive to Zuluk/Phadamchen via Rongli, Lingtam and Nimachen. En route see Reshikhola and Kuekhola Falls. Check into Homestay and Lunch, Dinner and Overnight at Zuluk/Phadamchen.
After breakfast proceed upto Kupup. En route see Zigzag Point, Thambi View Point, Lungthung, Nathang Valley, Old Baba Mandir, Tukla Valley and Elephant Lake. Back to Zuluk/Phadamchen. Lunch, Dinner and Overnight at Zuluk/Phadamchen.
Check out after breakfast and drop to Rolep/Rangpokhola. Check into Homestay. After lunch Spent some time on the banks of Rangpo River. Dinner and Overnight at Rolep/Rangpokhola.
